How much is such and such skate setup?
Vanilla doesn't sell directly to the general public - you have to purchase your skates at your local roller rink or an online proshop, if you can't find any rinks around. Each rink and online retailer sells skates at their own prices, so shop around and find the best deal for your Vanillas!
Do Vanilla footwear run wide or narrow?
We've designed our skates to be a little wider so you don't have to crunch your feet in. Vanilla's also come with a smaller arch support, so you can add your favorite orthopedic insole if you need to!
Where can I Vanilla products?
You can purchase Vanilla products from any roller rink in America. You can also cop Vanilla products online at your favorite online store. Google is your friend - start by googling the name of the Vanilla product you are looking for. We cannot suggest specific sites.
Will Team Vanilla come to my rink?
If you are interested in Team Vanilla doing a demo at your roller rink, send us an e-mail. If you are a rink owner, we would love to talk to you about how jamskating can help you build a regular customer base and improve your bottom line.
I'm an online retailer/rink owner and I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the changes you make in your products. Any help?
We are constantly improving the quality of our products. We test our products thoroughly before we release them, but we are always finding new materials to use in our products.
We also know that the tastes of our customer base are contantly changing. Anticipating our customers wants in regards to color and design will ultimately prove beneficial to everyone. We'll sell more skates and so will you. If you want to voice your opinion regarding our past/present/future product release, give us a call at 1-800-714-4628.
Can you sponsor me?
Ask yourself these questions: Have I competed at a national event? Have I sent my 'sponsor-me' vid to Vanilla headquarters? Am I ready to spend long hours on the road traveling to rinks across America to skate in front of thousands of screaming people? Can I beat a current Team Vanilla skater in a head to head battle?
If you answered yes to all those questions, then we'll talk to you - until then, keep practicing.
'Sponsor-Me' video.. what's that?
It's a short video showcasing your talents on and off the floor. Play the piano, we want to see it. World record time in the hotdog relay, throw that in there too!
Send your videos to Vanilla Skate Company, 1931 South 30th Street, La Crosse, WI 54601. You can use any type of format - DVD, VHS, video CD... whatever you can think of. See you soon!
Do Vanilla products come with a warranty?
Absolutely. We try our hardest to design/manufacture our products so that you'll never, ever have a problem with them. If you ever have an issue with your Vanilla anything, send us an e-mail - we want to know about it (really!). We'll work with you to make you a happy customer.
Can you make me a custom boot?
Nope, we don't do custom boots at this time. We will be adding this option in the future, though, so stay tuned!
I love the graphics on your website / flyers / posters / myspace / boots / wheels / t-shirts / accessories. Who does them?
Brendan Pettit, our Creative Director, does all of our design work. He's a genius. Shoot us an e-mail and we'll get you in contact with Brendan if you are looking for someone for your next graphic design job.

The term "amazing skater" doesn't even begin to describe Tony Zane. Tony is the number one skater of all time, past or present, dead or alive.
Home grown in Chicago, Illinois, Tony now lives in Hollywood, California and is currently persuing a career in the entertainment industry.
Zane started skating in 2002, making his competition debut at the Winter Jamskating Nationals at Skate West outside of Chicago. He's been smashing ever since.
In years since, Tony has done it all: NBA halftime shows, major motion pictures, a series on MTV, America's Got Talent, sold out tours - and the list goes on.
Tony Zane, and athletes like him, are one of the reasons we started this company. If you're lucky, you can catch him on re-runs of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew or America's Got Talent.

Diamond was one of the very first jamskaters we had ever met, and also one of the nicest. Diamond grew up skating in Kokomo, Indiana; the same place jamskating was created by Jordan McQuiston, friend and former creative director of Vanilla.
Diamond's skating style is unmistakably Kokomo: exciting and flashy. His moves will keep ou glued to every second of his performances. Diamond's creative use of power moves in his skating style and captivating personality both on and off the floor won him a spot on the number one skate team in the world.
Diamond is currently traveling the United States performing at sold-out venues with Tony Zane and other members of Team Breaksk8.

If you've ever been to a roller rink in a major American city (Chicago, Atlanta, New York, Miami) then chances are, you've seen Stephanie Ghentz there. Ms. Ghentz is, without a doubt, the queen of jamskating. Stephanie has skated at more roller rinks than the rest of us combined.
We've known Stephanie for a long, long time. We met her many years ago at a Watertown, Wisconsin all-nite skate. She was easily the most beautiful and most talented female skater we had ever met; two characteristics that still hold true today.
With over one million miles of travel under her belt, and dozens of huge competition trophers on her mantel, Stephanie is a veteran of the skating industry and a perfect match for Vanilla.
Stephanie recently founded Vanilla Derby, Vanilla's new roller derby brand. She is the 100% owner and operator, running both the day-to-day operations and product design department.

Brandon Perea is the future and he's a Vanilla exclusive. We actually met Brandon the first month he ever put on skates. Brandon had the original white/baby blue Freestyle boots and the Vanilla Uprock wheels. Before he joined Vanilla, he was our biggest fan; anything that had to with Vanilla, Brandon wanted to know about it.
Two years after we met him, when Brandon turned 13 years old, we knew we had to snatch him up before other companies got him (and other companies certainly tried.)
Brandon is a die-hard skater; he skates every session possible, in the parkiing lot after the session, and at the garage at his house after he gets home from practice - that's dedication.
His style is a mixture of Diamond Walker's power with Stephanie Ghentz' energy and Tony Zane's balance - what a combo!
Brandon has the talent to take skating to the next level, and year, he's still Vanilla's biggest fan.

Did you know "Landeros" means "fresh" in Spanish? Yeah, we totally made that up - but we're gonna go out on a limb and say that it should be translated that way.
Alex has some of the best footwork and freshest styles in the industry. He's been a minstay at skating events for years, making a name for himself both on and off the floor. He's a stand-up guy with a great attitude and makes one heck of a quesadilla. But no, really, he's nasty fresh.
Alex is currently traveling the country skating at rinks around America. If you catch him at a session, be sure to say hello - he is as nice as his moves look.
